About Me
Many people I work with feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or depression while trying to keep everything together on the outside. You may struggle with perfectionism, self-criticism, or coping habits—like substance use or emotional avoidance—that once helped but no longer feel sustainable. Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand these patterns, and build healthier ways of coping. I’m here to help you find a new path forward.I am a dually licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse counseling in Wisconsin. My expertise lies in helping people overcome depression and anxiety, and navigate major life transitions including college stress, early career pressures, and the complexities of pregnancy or postpartum adjustment. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT, ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches (such as ACT). Together we’ll develop tools to help you manage stress, cope with difficult emotions, and create a more balanced, meaningful life.
Areas of Specialization
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, perfectionism, chronic stress, and major life transitions. I also have specialized experience working with substance use concerns and with individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and other periods of significant adjustment. I also enjoy working with college students and young adults as they navigate the challenges of school, relationships, early careers, and developing a greater sense of identity and direction.
